Recap: Quincy Blue Devils vs. Belleville East Lancers

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Quincy Blue Devils had no problem doing just that on Monday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 68-30 win over the Lancers. Quincy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 22 games by 20 points or more this season.

Quincy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jada Brown led the charge by scoring 18 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Taylor Fohey, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Quincy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. As for Belleville East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.

Quincy is on the road again on Thursday and plays O'Fallon at 6:00 p.m. on February 15th. One thing working in Quincy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Belleville East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
