Basketball Game Preview: Central Christian Academy Chargers vs. Eminence Eels

Central Christian Academy is 0-3 against Eminence since November of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Central Christian Academy Chargers are taking a road trip to square off against the Eminence Eels at 6:00 p.m.

Last Saturday, Central Christian Academy was beaten by Indianapolis Lutheran 50-20. The contest marked the Chargers 's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Eminence had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45.3 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 63-42 victory. The Eels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Central Christian Academy better keep an eye on Khloee Kirk. She was instrumental in Eminence's win, putting up 30 points. The contest was Kirk's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Sophia Saucerman was another key player, posting 16 points.

Eminence has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.9 points per game. As for Central Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
