While Eastside's victory against Kennedy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Ghosts narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Knights 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Ghosts have posted against the Knights since May 3, 2017.

Johan Tejada tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kairo Reyes, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Angel Liranzo, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Eastside and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Kennedy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
