Soccer Recap: Pocahontas County Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Pocahontas County was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of the Berkeley Springs Indians by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Berkeley Springs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 on October 4th.

Pocahontas County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-1. As for Berkeley Springs, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-5.

Pocahontas County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berkeley Springs, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-0 loss against Lincoln on the 28th.
