Basketball Game Preview: Box Elder Bees vs. Northridge Knights

The Box Elder Bees will venture away from home to face off against the Northridge Knights at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Box Elder and three for Northridge.

Box Elder lost 59-39 to Viewmont on Friday.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Emma Nelson, who posted five points. Katarina Kunzler also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season.

Meanwhile, Northridge played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Bountiful, falling 63-40. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the RedHawks are ranked 14th).

Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Box Elder, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-18.

Box Elder came up short against Northridge in their previous matchup back in January, falling 40-35. Can Box Elder avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
