Baseball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Thursday, Lighthouse Christian came back down to earth. The Chargers lost 11-2 to the St. Louis HomeSchool P Patriots on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Thursday.

Lighthouse Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Morgan, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Lighthouse Christian has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-12 record this season. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 27-18.

As of now, neither Lighthouse Christian nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
