Softball Recap: Boscobel Sets Scoring Season-High Against North Crawford

Boscobel extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 17 on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-16 in the process. They lost 19-4 to the North Crawford Trojans. On the bright side, the four- run performance marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring game to date.

As for North Crawford, their victory ended an 11-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-21-1. Their offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

For North Crawford's part, the team relied heavily on Dakota Heister, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases Heister has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Eitland, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Boscobel will face off against Wauzeka-Steuben at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Crawford, they will take on Seneca at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
