Football Recap: Wolsey-Wessington Takes a Loss

Wolsey-Wessington played against Gregory on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Wolsey-Wessington is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Gregory, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Wolsey-Wessington will venture away from home to face off against Bon Homme at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warbirds will be up against the Cavaliers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Gregory, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kimball/White Lake at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
