Basketball Recap: Dominion Comes Up Short

Dominion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 72-64 to the Potomac Falls Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-41 back in December of 2024.

Potomac Falls' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brennan Hytten led the charge by going 5 for 6 on his way to 11 points. AJ Pawlowski was another key player, putting up ten points and five rebounds.

Dominion's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Potomac Falls, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

Dominion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-49 loss against Heritage on the 14th. As for Potomac Falls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 72-63 victory against Independence on the 13th.
