Baseball Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Falls to Rochester in First Game of Season

Lafayette Jefferson unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Rochester Zebras on Thursday, falling 12-1.

Ben Pickering was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette Jefferson will take on Carroll at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rochester, they will face off against Caston at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
