Kansas City East Christian Academy barely beat Guadalupe Centers the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lions put the hurt on the Aztecs with a sharp 7-2 win on Thursday. Considering Kansas City East Christian Academy's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Their offense was hitting Guadalupe Centers from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Elijah Christophersen led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Kansas City East Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-5-3. As for Guadalupe Centers, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kansas City East Christian Academy will head out to square off against Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Guadalupe Centers, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lincoln College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on October 14.
