Norfolk has gone a perfect 10-0 against Fremont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m.

Norfolk is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nebraska's top teams: Lincoln Southeast, who was ranked 20th at the time (Norfolk was ranked 15th). The Panthers fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. That makes it the first time this season Norfolk have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Omaha Central kept up with Fremont until halftime on Tuesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Tigers never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Fremont hit Omaha Central with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cecily Barcenes, Emma Diers, and Maira Fiscus.

The victory got Fremont back to even at 4-4. As for Norfolk, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Norfolk skirted past Fremont 2-1 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
