             MacArthur can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Saturday. In a tight  contest that could have gone either way, they made off with  a  14-13 victory over the Channelview Falcons. This was payback for the Generals, who suffered  a  33-13  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 MacArthur's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Nicholas Macias, who rushed for 109 yards on only 12 carries. Macias got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible 65 yards.
 The  win  got MacArthur back to even at 1-1. As for Channelview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 MacArthur will venture away from home to  challenge West Brook  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. MacArthur is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. As for Channelview, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on Clear Creek  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
