Soccer Game Preview: Mountain Vista vs. Chaparral + How To Watch

The Mountain Vista Golden Eagles will square off against the Chaparral Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Mountain Vista fell victim to Legend and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Chaparral and Heritage had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wolverines fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Chaparral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while Heritage are ranked 41st).

Mountain Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Chaparral, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8-4.

Everything went Mountain Vista's way against Chaparral in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Mountain Vista made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Golden Eagles repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
