With a playoff game on the line, the Zephyrhills Christian Academy Warriors rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Lions 68-20 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Zephyrhills Christian Academy has managed all season.
Zephyrhills Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Xavier Perez, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Perez has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Rogers Jones, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Despite the defeat, Classical Prep saw an underclassman step up: Kalan Schroder scored 14 points.
