There's no place like home for Ganado, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Window Rock Fighting Scouts with a sharp 28-8 win on Friday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 20 points or more this season.

Ganado found their leader in sophomore Jeronen Nargo, who forced one fumble and made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Ganado didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tyre Nichols. Ganado received some extra help from Nichols, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Ganado's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.2 points on average over those games. As for Window Rock, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ganado will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Winslow at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Window Rock, they will venture away from home to take on Chinle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so the Fighting Scouts' offense will have their work cut out for them.
