Basketball Game Preview: Sheehan Titans vs. Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets

The Sheehan Titans will head out on the road to take on the Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Sheehan has given up an average of 65 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Sheehan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 57-56 victory over Cromwell. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Academy of Aerospace and Engineering can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top against Abbott RVT by a score of 64-52. Given the Jets' advantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Wolverines are ranked 130th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Academy of Aerospace and Engineering's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Sheehan, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
