Basketball Game Recap: Pawnee City Indians vs. Frankfort Wildcats

The Pawnee City Indians lost against the Frankfort Wildcats back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Pawnee City took a serious blow against Frankfort, falling 61-14. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pawnee City in their matchups with Frankfort: they've now lost nine in a row.

Emalyse Gottula was Pawnee City's leading scorer, having posted five points. Kinsley Benson held things down on the boards with three rebounds.

Pawnee City's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Frankfort, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pawnee City will square off against Parkview Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Frankfort, they will head out on the road to face off against Northern Heights on Tuesday.
