Lafayette Jefferson strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Warsaw Tigers by a score of 2-0. While the Bronchos didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Lafayette Jefferson easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15.

Azlan Rodriguez paced Lafayette Jefferson's offense, picking up 11 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Ancel Tello and his 12 assists. Finally, Colin Smith kept Lafayette Jefferson's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Lafayette Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Warsaw, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

As for Warsaw, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Greenwood Christian Academy on the 19th.
