Melrose waltzed into their match on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the Dora Coyotes as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 14th.

Melrose's got stronger as the match went on, holding Dora to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-4.

Melrose's offense was headlined by Hally Draper and Braylan Morgan, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Kailey Jackson and her 27 assists. Draper was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Melrose's win bumped their record up to 17-2. As for Dora, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.

Melrose wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Logan on the 1st. As for Dora, after both having extra time off, they and Elida will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
