Baseball Recap: Seagraves Comes Up Short

Seagraves was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Ropes, falling 13-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Seagraves of the 28-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Seagraves saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noah Sarabia, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Seagraves' loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Ropes, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

While Seagraves had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
