Soccer Recap: Kent City Takes a Loss

Kent City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Tri County Area Vikings, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Kent City can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 387th, while Tri County Area are ranked 132nd).

Kent City's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Tri County Area, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1-1.

Coming up, Kent City will face off against Chippewa Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri County Area, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lakeview at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tri County Area will need to watch out since Lakeview have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
