West Texas had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt Sanford-Fritch on Thursday. The Comanches took their game with ease, bagging a 36-0 win over the Eagles. Considering the Comanches have won six matchups by more than 32 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

West Texas pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.3 points on average over those games. As for Sanford-Fritch, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
