Baseball Recap: Linden Falls to Kennedy Memorial in First Game of Season

Linden unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Kennedy Memorial Mustangs on Friday, falling 18-1.

Linden saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jimmy Santa Maria, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Jarier Santana was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Coming up, Linden will square off against Dunellen at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kennedy Memorial, they will head out on the road to square off against Metuchen at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Kennedy Memorial's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
