Preview: Milpitas vs. Lynbrook
Milpitas is 2-8 against Lynbrook since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Milpitas Trojans will be playing at home against the Lynbrook Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Milpitas beat Saratoga 3-1. Three seems to be a good number for Milpitas as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They hit Saratoga with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Jason Aguiar,
Luqman Abas, and
Andre Bahena.
Meanwhile, Lynbrook sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Monta Vista on Wednesday.
The victory makes it two in a row for Milpitas and bumps their season record up to 9-6-1. As for Lynbrook, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9-3.
Milpitas beat Lynbrook by a goal in their previous matchup back in January, winning 2-1. Will Milpitas repeat their success, or does Lynbrook have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
