Loyola had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on Tuesday. The Crusaders blew past the Thunderbirds 3-0. The Crusaders have beaten the Thunderbirds the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Thunderbirds has come to flipping the script.

Loyola didn't let Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.
