Softball Recap: Phil Campbell Comes Up Short

Phil Campbell was the 5-4 winner over Tharptown when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. Phil Campbell took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tharptown on Saturday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Phil Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Tharptown, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Phil Campbell will head out on the road to challenge Covenant Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Phil Campbell is facing Covenant Christian at the right time seeing as Covenant Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tharptown, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Haleyville at 4:30 p.m. on April 8.
