Grand Oaks entered their tilt with Caney Creek on Tuesday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Panthers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Grand Oaks took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-6.

Grand Oaks' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julia Flessas, who had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Flessas has posted since back in August. Lauren Duarte also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Grand Oaks was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Grand Oaks' record is now 25-8. As for Caney Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-20.

Grand Oaks has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against The Woodlands on the 26th. As for Caney Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Willis on the 26th.
