Soccer Recap: Upson-Lee Takes a Loss

Upson-Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Spalding Jaguars. Upson-Lee were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Spalding apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Upson-Lee's goal came courtesy of Chastin Haynes, which was the first he's scored this season.

Upson-Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Spalding, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Upson-Lee has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Luella on the 27th. As for Spalding, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Fayette County on the 27th.
