Preview: Northside Christian Academy Crusaders vs. Oakbrook Prep Knights

The Northside Christian Academy Crusaders will head out on the road to face off against the Oakbrook Prep Knights at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Northside Christian Academy comes in on 11 and Oakbrook Prep on five.
In what's become a running theme this season, Northside Christian Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They breezed by Palmetto Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 73-41. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Northside Christian Academy had established a 29 point advantage.
Hilton Dessausure continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Cade McNeil was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Even though Oakbrook Prep has not done well against Spartanburg Christian Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Oakbrook Prep took down Spartanburg Christian Academy 54-37. Given Oakbrook Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Spartanburg Christian Academy is ranked 292nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Northside Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Oakbrook Prep, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Northside Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off Oakbrook Prep when the teams last played back in February of 2023 and fell 56-53. Can Northside Christian Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
