Volleyball Game Preview: Mayer Wildcats vs. Salome Frogs + Official Tickets

The Mayer Wildcats will square off against the Salome Frogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Mayer turned things around against BASIS Flagstaff on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Yetis 3-2.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Mayer who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 25-22, 20-25, 17-15.

Meanwhile, Salome got the win against Antelope on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Mayer's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Salome, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Mayer came up short against Salome in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, falling 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
