Berkeley Springs won the last time they faced Hancock and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Indians were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers. While the Indians didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Berkeley Springs didn't let Hancock take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 25-23.

Abigail Close paced Berkeley Springs' offense, picking up ten kills. Close got some help from Madalyn Close and her 16 assists. Abigail was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Berkeley Springs' victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Hancock, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Berkeley Springs will face off against Mountain View Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hancock, they will square off against St. John's Catholic Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
