The Palma Chieftains will head out to square off against the Los Gatos Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Palma is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Palma is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Soquel 28-0. 28 seems to be a good number for the Chieftains as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Eli Dukes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 200 rushing yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Palma was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 279 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 220 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Los Gatos earned a 14-7 win over Saint Francis on Friday. Those 14 points were actually the fewest the Wildcats have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Palma better keep an eye on Callum Schweitzer. He was instrumental in Los Gatos' win, throwing for 196 yards and a pair of TDs.

Palma's record is now 11-0. As for Los Gatos, their record now sits at 8-3.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Palma has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 311 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Los Gatos struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 194.1 rushing yards.
