Medford Tech had won six straight games and Nesta Rice did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Medford Tech Jaguars walked away with a 72-60 win over the Westampton Tech Panthers thanks in part to Rice, who went 9 for 20 on his way to 25 points and five rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times he's played.

Noah Talbert was another key player, putting up eight points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Westampton Tech still got an impressive performance from Jason Livingstone, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Daelan Dickerson, who went 8 of 15 to rack up 23 points and six rebounds.

Medford Tech pushed their record up to 10-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Westampton Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.

Medford Tech wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-48 win against Pemberton on the 8th. As for Westampton Tech, they will square off against Trenton Catholic Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
