After a string of 14 wins dating back to last season, West Florida Baptist Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a hard 50-36 fall against the Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors. The match marked the Conquerors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Conquerors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Pearce, who posted eight points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bryse Burkett, who had 13 points.

Mylee Trimble was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 17 rebounds for Pensacola Christian Academy. The dominant performance gave Trimble a new career-high in points. Maddie Sellars was another key player, putting up 17 points and three steals.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Florida Baptist Academy fell to 7-1. As for Pensacola Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.
