Soccer Recap: Lansdowne Comes Up Short

After flying high against Western Tech & Environmental Science on Wednesday, Lansdowne came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 4-0 to the Parkville Knights on Friday. While losing is never fun, Lansdowne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 169th, while Parkville are ranked 29th).

Lansdowne now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Parkville, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.

Lansdowne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parkville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kenwood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kenwood will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Parkville surely won't give up without a fight.
