Basketball Recap: Wellsville-Middletown Comes Up Short

Wellsville-Middletown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 37-27 to the Sturgeon Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-49 back in January.

Wellsville-Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Sturgeon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Wellsville-Middletown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-30 defeat against Louisiana on the 7th. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up.
