Softball Recap: Ygnacio Valley Comes Up Short on the Road Against Deer Valley

Ygnacio Valley had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Deer Valley Wolverines, falling 22-4.

The win snapped Deer Valley's losing streak at 21 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-1 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ygnacio Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Making Waves Academy at 4:30 p.m. on March 14th. As for Deer Valley, they will be playing at home against Washington at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
