Basketball Recap: Wetumpka Gets the Win

Brewbaker Tech came into Friday's game looking for another win against Wetumpka, but Kaleb Ballard wouldn't allow it. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Rams 63-61 with plenty of help from Ballard, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 15 boards. Ballard is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season.

Chris Robinson was another key player, almost dropping a triple-double with 19 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game.

Wetumpka now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Brewbaker Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Wetumpka won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Pelham at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Brewbaker Tech, they will take on Prattville Christian Academy in a tournament on Monday.
