Baseball Game Preview: Cedar Ridge Raiders vs. Round Rock Westwood Warriors

The Cedar Ridge Raiders will venture away from home to square off against the Round Rock Westwood Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Ridge is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

On Saturday, Cedar Ridge was able to grind out a solid win over Round Rock Westwood, taking the game 5-2.

Cedar Ridge got a great performance from Jaedyn Lambert as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Lambert has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kasen Langerhans, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Olivas, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Cedar Ridge lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since the start of last season.

Cedar Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Round Rock Westwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10-1 record this season.
