Volleyball Recap: Salt Lake Academy Takes a Loss

Salt Lake Academy was the 3-0 winner over Rockwell when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Griffins fell just short of the Marshals by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

Salt Lake Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (112-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 12-25, 14-25, 16-14.

Salt Lake Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Rockwell, their win bumped their record up to 6-17.

Looking ahead, Salt Lake Academy will challenge Merit Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
