Even though the Madison Mohawks scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, the Edgewood Cougars still came out on top. Edgewood took their match against Madison 65-55. That's another feather in the cap for Edgewood, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Rylie Homan went supernova for Edgewood, scoring 30 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. The contest was Homan's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Maddy Judd, who scored 15 points.
Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Madison, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Edgewood will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Lebanon at 1:00 p.m. As for Madison, they will head out on the road to face off against Brookville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
