Basketball Recap: Henderson Collegiate Takes a Loss

Henderson Collegiate lost against Oxford Prep back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Henderson Collegiate Pride were dealt a 57-27 loss at the hands of the Oxford Prep Griffins.

Henderson Collegiate's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Oxford Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Coming up, Henderson Collegiate will venture away from home to square off against Roxboro Community at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Roxboro Community will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something Henderson Collegiate surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oxford Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Excelsior Classical Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oxford Prep is facing Excelsior Classical Academy at the right time seeing as Excelsior Classical Academy is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
