Basketball Recap: Streator Falls Short of Lasalle-Peru in the Playoffs

Streator and LaSalle-Peru squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Streator had to settle for second. They fell just short of the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers by a score of 49-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Cavaliers since February 8, 2020.

Streator dropped their record down to 24-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for LaSalle-Peru, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-18 record this season.

As of now, neither Streator nor LaSalle-Peru have any future games scheduled.
