Soccer Game Preview: James Logan vs. Kennedy

The James Logan Colts will take on the Kennedy Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (James Logan has four straight wins, Kennedy has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

James Logan gave up the first goal last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over American.

James Logan hit American with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Damian Estrada, Angel Vasquez, and Alex Reynoso.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Kennedy was not quite Mt. Eden's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 816th, while the Monarchs are ranked 196th).

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for James Logan, their win bumped their record up to 12-7-2.
