On Thursday, Monacan came up short against Powhatan and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Cosby got the win against L.C. Bird on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-20, 25-11.

Cosby's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. As for Monacan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
