For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Salem and East Marion meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Wildcats blew past the Eagles 17-11. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Salem's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-8. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for East Marion, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

Salem didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-3 victory against Sacred Heart on the 27th. As for East Marion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Resurrection Catholic on the 27th.
