Wekiva is a perfect 3-0 against Lake Buena Vista since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wekiva Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Lake Buena Vista Vipers at 6:30 p.m. Wekiva hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Wekiva saw some tournament action on Friday. They lost 13-1 to Colonial.

Wekiva saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Reinert, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Lake Buena Vista was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against Edgewater, falling 11-1.

Dixson Gil made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Lake Buena Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wekiva, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Wekiva came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Buena Vista in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, sneaking past 2-0. Does Wekiva have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lake Buena Vista turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
