Volleyball Recap: Southwest Onslow Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The Southwest Onslow Stallions lost 3-0 to the Clinton Dark Horses on Thursday. The Stallions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-15, 25-12.

Clinton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cameron Marshburn led the charge by getting 22 digs. Marshburn is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. Nellie Bass was another key player, getting 13 kills, three digs, and two aces.

Southwest Onslow's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Clinton, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southwest Onslow is set to square off against their familiar foe East Duplin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clinton will face off against rival Pender at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
