Basketball Game Preview: Summit Storm vs. Newberg Tigers

The Summit Storm will be taking part in a tournament against the Newberg Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Newberg took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Summit, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Summit beat North Eugene 71-62.

Meanwhile, Newberg had to suffer through a 72-41 loss at the hands of North Salem. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Vikings are ranked 100th).

Newberg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Summit, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
